DID YOU KNOW?
1st position of Google could get you 39.6% of the search traffic!
While the 5th position only 5.1% 1

WHY IS #1 IMPORTANT?

Because being on Google does not get traffic. Being top of Google is what gets traffic.

WHY SEO SERVICES?

SEO is where you put yourself to be found when someone searches on their own terms, therefore greater ROI because they are seeking you.

WHY NOT SOMETHING ELSE?

Traditional Advertising and Social Media are channels to place yourself in front of people with the hopes of building trust for a time they may need you.

WHY SEO OVER GOOGLE ADS?
The click-to-website rate is higher

COST IS LOWER OVER TIME
SEO investments grow exponentially

The SEO Contractor_SEO Graphic.png

With SEO your budget remains the same as your rankings grow for a targeted page. Once at the top you can remain there and gain a larger percentage of the traffic without paying per click.

The SEO Contractor_PPC Graphic.png

With PPC you only show on Google for part of the day until your budget is clicked out. If you want more clicks then you have to pay more money to get them. Anytime you stop paying, then you are no longer showing in Google.

Adding SEO Over Time.png

With SEO you can grow anytime by expanding the keywords you are targeting to add more keywords. For example, once you make it to the top for your main local city, now you can decide to add additional SEO services to expand into the neighboring city.

HOW DO WE DELIVER SEO?

SEO IS THE PROCESS OF ADDING CONTENT AND PAGES TO YOUR WEBSITE.

WE TARGET EACH PAGE TO
 KEYWORDS PEOPLE ARE SEARCHING FOR.

THEN WE LINK TO THOSE PAGES FROM OTHER GREAT WEBSITES.

THIS CONSISTENCY MAKES YOUR WEBSITE STRONG IN GOOGLE.

WHY SEO FOR CONTRACTORS?

HOMEOWNERS DO NOT GO TO SERVICE COMPANIES. YOU GO TO THEM.

THEREFORE THEY ARE SEEKING TO FIND YOU AND THEY WANT SOMEONE LOCAL.

ASIDE FROM REFERRALS. ONE OF THE FIRST PLACES THEY GO TO IS GOOGLE.

1

How Many Cities Do You Service

The first step of SEO is to target your main service area starting with the most important cities. Each location represents a page on your website that we move up in the rankings. Our SEO plans are priced per targeted location.

STEP 2: Budget

2

Monthly Budget Based on Revenue

You should be spending a minimum of 3% of your monthly revenue on SEO, and your budget should grow appropriately with your revenue. We do not recommend spending more on PPC than SEO.

Question 1
What is SEO for contractors?

SEO services for contractors are local SEO campaigns geared towards a specific sector of businesses and contractors. Choosing an SEO agency to work with helps to utilize a company that understands your market.  Although many SEO campaigns are similar, SEO for specific industries like roofers, plumbers, electricians, and so on will be far more effective if the person working on your campaign understands how your customers search for your services.

It is crucial to employ various SEO techniques because algorithms power search engines. Those algorithms direct how the search engine locates your website and crawls the site's web pages, content, and backend data.

In more straightforward terms: Your website has many elements that set off various signals when search engines read over your content. If those signals are missing or incorrect, it can affect your website's ability to perform.

Luckily, SEO is a science; if proper steps are taken, the desired outcome will arise. For average business owners, though, it can feel overwhelming. Don't worry; this article is designed to help you understand the basics with less technical jargon.

Question 2
How much does SEO cost?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is essential for businesses to get their names online through digital marketing and gain phone calls. SEO increases your website's visibility when people search for products or services related to your business via a search engine. The more visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you will garner attention and attract prospective and existing customers to your business. Creating an SEO strategy can be a cost-effective game changer to help your site rank higher in searches than ever.

Look at your SEO and PPC budget.

Like any business expense, a proper SEO strategy must be worth a business owner's while. You want online visibility, but if you're a local business like a construction company, you want website traffic from your local market. As a full-service marketing agency, we recommend SEO first and foremost over other strategies like pay-per-click (PPC) and social media. At least 3 percent of your company's revenue should go toward SEO, while 10 percent is a general recommendation for overall marketing efforts. We also do not recommend contracts. We are a no-contract company, and although we recommend a minimum of 12 months to work on your SEO, we do not lock you in.

PPC is when you only pay for website traffic if your business's ad is clicked. It's essentially "buying" visits via an auction to your site and driving them through paid advertisement. PPC isn't a wrong method for driving traffic, but it tends to produce less-quality visitors than organic search users. We recommend link-building SEO first, and if you also choose PPC, you must match your budget to your SEO services. Many businesses tend to throw huge budgets into PPC and minimal SEO. We have noticed better results for customers who have matched budgets or more to SEO and less to PPC.

Question 3
Why is SEO important for contractors?

As a contractor, there's never been a more incredible time to connect with potential customers and grow your online presence. With the Internet and the rise of digital platforms, contractors can harness the power of Internet marketing to grow their business, connect with leads, and showcase their work using a website. This means your company must employ a solid marketing strategy to compete with the competition.

Gain Visibility For Local Searches

As a contracting business, the chances are good that you serve a specific geographical area. With SEO, contractors can target potential customers in their service areas by optimizing their site and Google Maps with relevant and longtail keyword phrases.

On-page Search engine optimization includes integrating local keywords in your page titles, meta descriptions, and website content.
Optimizing page speed, image alt tags, and internal linking help increase the odds of higher visibility in search results and having an active google my business profile with growing reviews.

Finally, generating and submitting a sitemap to search engines and ensuring your website is mobile-friendly and secure create strong brand signals.

Question 4
Does My Business Need Local SEO?

As a local home service business owner, you might think having a website and social media presence is enough to attract customers. Yet, without proper local SEO, your business will miss out on potential leads and sales. Local SEO helps improve your visibility on search engines like Google, leading to higher conversion rates and increased revenue for your business.

To gain a conversion, you first need to be found. People who search for services in their area usually turn to Google or other search engines to find businesses nearby. Local SEO helps improve your website's ranking on these search engines, which means more people will see your business when they search for related services in your area.

Local SEO helps target customers most likely to be interested in your services. For example, if you're a plumbing company in Houston, you want to attract people in the Houston area who need plumbing services. With local SEO, you can target keywords and phrases specific to your location and services, leading to higher-quality website traffic.

Google's algorithms are constantly changing, but its goals are not.

As a local home service business owner, you know the importance of ranking high on Google. You also understand that Google constantly changes algorithms to provide the best user experience. But did you know that even though Google constantly changes, its goals aren't? Google aims to provide users with high-quality, relevant, and authoritative content. Focusing on content and quality can help your website rank at the top of Google's local search results.

One of the key things that Google looks for when ranking websites is originality. Your content should be unique and not copied from other sources. Providing your audience with original information, reporting, research, or analysis is essential. Your content should provide a substantial, complete, or comprehensive topic description. When creating your content, focus on delivering insightful analysis or interesting information that is beyond obvious. Google rewards websites that provide valuable and original content.
